Food service and ambience everything was . Personally would recommend to try their noodles bowls and fried rice."

"The beef soup was the most amazing soup we’ve ever had! This is not Chinese food you are thinking of - this is authentic Chinese food that you’ve never had before. The pickled rice and cilantro chicken are also unbelievable. The flavour is like nothing I’ve tasted before. Highly recommend."

"Wonderful experience. The food was absolutely fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every dish was comforting and full of rich taste, and you can tell a lot of pride goes into the cooking. I’ve already been here twice, and both times the food was consistently excellent. The only small suggestion is that the meat on the rice noodles could be improved, but overall this Chinese halal cuisine place truly stands out. I’m really looking forward to coming back again. Highly recommended."

"It's such a sweet surprise to find this little eatery place. It is originated from Guizhou, China. Very rare to find a restaurant from that region in GTA. Their dishes are known for their spicy and peppercorny taste. We tried the Mala Beef Noodle Soup. You can taste it's made from real beef bone broth. If you find it too spicy or salty, you can ask for some broth or extra noodles to dilute the taste a bit. Also, their coffee from Half Sweet Café menu is worth trying too. Overall we really enjoyed the meal and would be happy to share with friends."

"This new, fully halal, AUTHENTIC Chinese place opened up in Burlington last summer and my friends and I love it! Since then, I've sampled most of the menu and every dish has been a hit. I've also gotten my family and a few other friends onto it. My favourites are the braised beef soup, the beef chow mein, and the green pepper chicken. There's also a lovely little cafe in the store called Half Sweet with friendly baristas who make the BEST matcha (mango matcha's my personal fave), and I tried their cookie butter chai recently too, which was phenomenal. You can't go wrong with this place"

"Fantastic bowl of noodles. It’s so rare to find such a regional Chinese restaurant in Burlington of all places! The noodles are silky smooth and chewy, the meat is super tender and the broth is full of flavor. The pickled cabbage balances everything and adds a crunchy texture. Absolutely fantastic. I will be supporting this restaurant as much as I can!"

"The food was Amazing, I moved to waterdown recently and my only complaint was the lack of good restaurants, especially Asian ones. I lived in Scarborough and Mississauga before and the bar was high. But Alei’s kitchen delivered, the food is top notch, wish they had different options for the noodles shape but i wont complain. Definitely go to spot for when you crave a hearty bowl of noodles or delicious fried rice."

"Hard to find quality halal food like this, especially when it comes to Chinese cuisine but Alei Kitchen really delivers. I got the Braised Beef Noodle Soup (spicy) and it was spot on. The soup was rich, savory, and the spice level was just right. The braised beef was incredibly tender it literally melts in your mouth. Egg noodles with free refill is very nice, though I didn’t take advantage of that due to the decent serving size to start with. The place itself has a cozy, welcoming vibe, and the fact that it’s a full halal menu makes it even better. Will 100% be coming back to try more dishes!"
